Managing your time with Multiples

If you have a family with twins or more, you already know that successfully managing your time is necessary. Juggling all your family’s needs can be overwhelming. When your multiples are young, you have to keep track of things like diaper changes, feedings and sometimes medicines. As they get older, you have to plan around extra-curricular activities and school functions. There are always routine appointments for them and the rest of your family as well. To keep up with all that is going on in your busy life you will need a way to organize your schedule.
The easiest way to stay on top off a busy schedule is to get a big desk calendar. Hang it where everyone has easy access to it, for instance on the refrigerator or beside your entry door. This is a good place to write feedings, diaper changes and other daily activities when they are babies. All of the information is in one place so you can compare days with a simple glance. Sometimes the pen and paper calendar is not enough. If you want more features or to be able to share your calendar, consider something online.
Google Calendar is one of many free online calendars. It has many great elements. Once you have created your own Google Account, setting up your calendar is easy. You can share your calendar with family, friends and others allowing everyone to stay informed. Google Calendar can be used on mobile devices while you are on-the-go. It can sync your desktop computer calendar such as Microsoft Outlook. You are able to set up email reminders so you will never miss an event. It also allows you to send invitations and keep track of RSVPs for birthday parties and other special events all from your calendar.
